The update of the CMR entries 28, 29 and 30 of annex XVII (restrictions) of REACH was published on the 14th of December in the European Official Journal. Substances that were added to annex VI of the CLP regulation (harmonised classification) are now also added to the CMR restrictions entries, with the same dates of entry into force as the dates in de respective delegated regulations adding those substances to Annex VI of CLP.

The REACH Annex XVII entries 28-29-30 restrict the placing on the market and use of CMR substances, as substances, as constituents of other substances, or, in mixtures, for supply to the general public when the individual concentration in the substance or mixture is equal to or greater than specific or generic concentration limits specified depending on the substance. Some exemptions exist for professional uses.
